Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joe Andoe could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Two Horses changed hands for USD 1,075.50 (€ 651.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Andoe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Horse Head) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,866.70).
