This artwork by Joan Snyder achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work My Life sold for USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,423.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joan Snyder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Stripper in November this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 438,943.89).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Snyder erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit My Life für USD 60.000,00 (€ 53.423,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joan Snyder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Stripper im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 478.800,00 (€ 438.943,89).
