Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Willow by Joan Snyder was sold in the Contemporary Art | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,679.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Snyder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Stripper in November this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 438,943.89).
