The auction ended at the price of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,725.03), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Jim Thorell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work "Burnt matches in the sand" was auctioned for SEK 75,000.00 (€ 6,630.43).
