Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Lions in the circus" by Jim Thorell was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. The price achieved of SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,243.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Jim Thorell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work "Burnt matches in the sand" was auctioned for SEK 75,000.00 (€ 6,630.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Lions in the circus" von Jim Thorell wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.243,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jim Thorell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit "Burnt matches in the sand" für SEK 75.000,00 (€ 6.630,43) versteigert.
