Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Made of Two Elements by Jessica Stockholder. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 7,919.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Jessica Stockholder have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2011 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,306.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Made of Two Elements von Jessica Stockholder zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 7.919,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jessica Stockholder konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2011 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.306,77) versteigert.
