This artwork by Jennifer Guidi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2020. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Energy of Love (Painted Universe Mandala SF #4F, Red, Natural Ground) sold for USD 325,000.00 (€ 279,041.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jennifer Guidi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
