The work Dusk, Dawn by Jennifer Guidi was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,171.80), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Guidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dusk, Dawn von Jennifer Guidi wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.171,80) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Guidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 553.734,38).
