Auction result well in line with expectations
The work East West by Jennifer Bartlett was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 9,562.50 (€ 9,263.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four A.M. in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 235,447.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit East West von Jennifer Bartlett kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 9.263,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four A.M. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 235.447,13).
