JENNIFER BARTLETT (B. 1941) The Four Seasons the set of four screenprints in colors, on Kurotani Hosho paper, 1990-1993, each signed and dated in pencil, variously numbered from the edition of 62 (there were also seventeen artist's proof sets), co-published by the artist and Simca Print Artists, Inc., New York, with their blindstamp, each with full margins, in generally very good condition Each Image: 31 3 ⁄ 4 x 31 1 ⁄ 2 in. (800 x 807 mm.) Each Sheet: 33 x 34 1 ⁄ 2 in. (838 x 876 mm.)
Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Four Seasons by Jennifer Bartlett was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in July this year. The price achieved of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,201.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four A.M. in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 235,447.13).

Die Arbeit The Four Seasons von Jennifer Bartlett wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.201,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four A.M. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 235.447,13).
