Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jene Highstein for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,637.32). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Part I and Part II at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jene Highstein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract Compositions In Black And White: A Group Of Six, which sold at auction in December 2018 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,455.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jene Highstein für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.637,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
