Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jean-Claude Farhi was sold in the The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,902.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Claude Farhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unique Dining Table, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jean-Claude Farhi wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.902,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unique Dining Table beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68) versteigert wurde.
