This artwork by Jean-Claude Farhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2012. In the The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,574.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Claude Farhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unique Dining Table, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Claude Farhi erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.574,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unique Dining Table beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68) versteigert wurde.
