Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction, which included the work Untitled, Three Columns by Jean-Claude Farhi. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,574.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Claude Farhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unique Dining Table, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, Three Columns von Jean-Claude Farhi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.574,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unique Dining Table beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68) versteigert wurde.
