In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolours Day, which included the work An Allegory of the Arts by Jean-Baptiste Deshays. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,544.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00.
