In the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work 'Young Diana' sold for USD 45,410.00 (€ 43,309.49) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Janet Scudder; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Young Diana sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of USD 94,500.00 (€ 77,269.01).
