Despite a disappointment, a good price for Janet Scudder
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Young Diana by Janet Scudder for USD 94,500.00 (€ 77,269.01). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Young Diana is the most expensive artwork by Janet Scudder that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Young Diana von Janet Scudder für USD 94.500,00 (€ 77.269,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00.
