Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled From "Self Portrait In A Convex Mirror" By John Ashbery by Jane Freilicher. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,892.59). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jane Freilicher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work September Landscape in September 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 74,507.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled From "Self Portrait In A Convex Mirror" By John Ashbery von Jane Freilicher zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.892,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jane Freilicher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit September Landscape im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 74.507,11).
