This artwork by Jane Freilicher achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,454.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jane Freilicher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work September Landscape, which sold at auction in September 2019 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 74,507.11).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jane Freilicher erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.454,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jane Freilicher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit September Landscape beobachtet, die im September 2019 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 74.507,11) versteigert wurde.
