Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jan Vercruysse was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2012. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,905.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Vercruysse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atopie Iii, In 3 Parts, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 34,000.00 (€ 21,839.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jan Vercruysse kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.905,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Vercruysse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Atopie Iii, In 3 Parts beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 34.000,00 (€ 21.839,67) versteigert wurde.
