Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 300° Structure Panorama by Jan Dibbets was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,022.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Dibbets - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I, which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 300° Structure Panorama von Jan Dibbets wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.022,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Dibbets mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
