The work Cremorne Point, Sydney Harbour by James Ranalph Jackson was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Sydney in August 2003. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 8,812.50 (€ 5,206.00), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Ranalph Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Beach Scene, Narabeen North, which sold at auction in August 2007 for AUD 31,200.00 (€ 18,656.87).

Die Arbeit Cremorne Point, Sydney Harbour von James Ranalph Jackson wurde im August 2003 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 8.812,50 (€ 5.206,00) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von James Ranalph Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Beach Scene, Narabeen North beobachtet, die im August 2007 für AUD 31.200,00 (€ 18.656,87) versteigert wurde.
