Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian Evening, Bradley'S Head by James Ranalph Jackson was sold in the The Ken and Rona Eastaugh Collection auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 13,200.00 (€ 7,469.04). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Ranalph Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Beach Scene, Narabeen North, which sold at auction in August 2007 for AUD 31,200.00 (€ 18,656.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Australian Evening, Bradley'S Head von James Ranalph Jackson wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion The Ken and Rona Eastaugh Collection bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 13.200,00 (€ 7.469,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von James Ranalph Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Beach Scene, Narabeen North beobachtet, die im August 2007 für AUD 31.200,00 (€ 18.656,87) versteigert wurde.
