Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reflections, Blues Point by James Ranalph Jackson was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sidney in May last year. The price achieved of AUD 4,920.00 (€ 4,584.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by James Ranalph Jackson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Beach Scene, Narabeen North in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 31,200.00 (€ 18,656.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reflections, Blues Point von James Ranalph Jackson wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 4.920,00 (€ 4.584,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Ranalph Jackson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Beach Scene, Narabeen North im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 31.200,00 (€ 18.656,87).
