Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Here Sweet Marie Puck) by James Lee Byars was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2016. It achieved a price of EUR 8,125.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Lee Byars achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Figure of Death in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 761,000.00 (€ 692,195.74).
