Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green Staircase #1 by James Casebere was sold in the 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,344.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by James Casebere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arcade in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 55,411.90).

Die Arbeit Green Staircase #1 von James Casebere wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.344,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
