Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Boats; and Library I 2 by James Casebere was sold in the Photographs auction at Bonhams in New York in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,649.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Casebere achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arcade in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 55,411.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boats; and Library I 2 von James Casebere wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.649,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Casebere erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arcade im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 55.411,90).
