Etching with engraving, circa 1620, a very good but damaged impression, with narrow margins on three sides, trimmed within the platemark (well outside image), a restored area lower right corner, smaller repairs at other corners, creases, discoloration; with a group of 14 etchings and engravings by and after various artists including Hogarth, Overbeck, Swanevelt, Tempesta, and others

Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Holy Women At The Sepulchre (Griffiths-Hartley 14; Worthen-Reed 62) by Jacques Bellange for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,826.02). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints Including Andy Warhol & the Pop Generation at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Bellange achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Martyrdom Of Saint Andrew in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 34,686.15).
