In April 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Winter At Fisherman'S Shack by Jack Lorimer Gray. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,308.58), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Lorimer Gray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Running Before The Trades in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 145,875.00 (€ 170,262.25).

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter At Fisherman'S Shack von Jack Lorimer Gray zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.308,58) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Lorimer Gray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Running Before The Trades im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.875,00 (€ 170.262,25).
