In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work The Schooner Alcala Under Full Sail sold for USD 59,375.00 (€ 42,808.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Lorimer Gray - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Before The Trades, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 145,875.00 (€ 170,262.25).
