The »bidding war« ended at USD 233,000.00 (€ 171,247.98), 55% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Hamilton Bush - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Side Right (Right Side Red), which sold at auction in July 2013 for USD 603,750.00 (€ 454,562.57).
