Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jack Goldstein was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 137,500.00 (€ 129,986.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Goldstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jack Goldstein wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 129.986,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
