This artwork by Ivon Hitchens achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work For John Constable sold for GBP 4,480.00 (€ 4,480.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivon Hitchens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Azaleas in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 327,109.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ivon Hitchens erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit For John Constable für GBP 4.480,00 (€ 4.480,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivon Hitchens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life with Azaleas im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 327.109,44).
