Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Nude by Ivon Hitchens for GBP 512.00 (€ 593.30). This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivon Hitchens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Azaleas in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 327,109.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nude von Ivon Hitchens für GBP 512,00 (€ 593,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivon Hitchens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life with Azaleas im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 327.109,44).
