Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Decay (Lake Point Tower) by Iván Navarro was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 28,656.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iván Navarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Decay (Lake Point Tower) von Iván Navarro kam im September 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 28.656,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iván Navarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
