The work Hens feeding; The farm at dusk; and The end of winter by Ivan Varichev was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in April 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,142.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ivan Varichev; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The village shop; and Fetching water sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,335.71).

Die Arbeit Hens feeding; The farm at dusk; and The end of winter von Ivan Varichev wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.142,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ivan Varichev; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The village shop; and Fetching water im Dezember 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.335,71).
