In the British, Continental and Russian Pictures auction, the work The village shop; and Fetching water sold for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,335.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. This high result makes The village shop; and Fetching water the most expensive artwork by Ivan Varichev that we have observed at auctions so far.
