Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ivan Varichev could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints auction, the work The artist at work; Unloading the sled; The village gathering; A snow covered farm; and Winter on the farm changed hands for GBP 180.00 (€ 264.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Varichev have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The village shop; and Fetching water in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,335.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
