Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Window by Ivan Chuikov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 56,700.00 (€ 66,070.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Chuikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fake, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Window von Ivan Chuikov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 56.700,00 (€ 66.070,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fake beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67) versteigert wurde.
