Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Window XLIII by Ivan Chuikov. The price achieved of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 61,665.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Chuikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fake in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Window XLIII von Ivan Chuikov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 52.920,00 (€ 61.665,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fake im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67).
