Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Window LI by Ivan Chuikov was worth GBP 201,600.00 (€ 234,916.41) to a buyer in June 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ivan Chuikov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Fake sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).

Die Arbeit Window LI von Ivan Chuikov war einem Käufer im Juni 2021 GBP 201.600,00 (€ 234.916,41) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ivan Chuikov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Fake im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67).
