Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Point of View XVI by Ivan Chuikov was worth GBP 107,100.00 (€ 119,640.25) to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Chuikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fake, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Point of View XVI von Ivan Chuikov war einem Käufer im Dezember 2020 GBP 107.100,00 (€ 119.640,25) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fake beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67) versteigert wurde.
