This artwork by Issy Wood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Serves you right 2 sold for USD 289,800.00 (€ 280,732.35) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Issy Wood; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Chalet sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of GBP 441,000.00 (€ 522,855.13).
