Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou, which included the work Miami / from shame to grace by Issy Wood. The price achieved of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 177,425.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Issy Wood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chalet, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 441,000.00 (€ 522,855.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miami / from shame to grace von Issy Wood zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 177.425,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Issy Wood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chalet beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 441.000,00 (€ 522.855,13) versteigert wurde.
