This artwork by Issy Wood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Study for you in every drop sold for USD 304,800.00 (€ 279,427.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Issy Wood; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Chalet sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of GBP 441,000.00 (€ 522,855.13).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Issy Wood; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Chalet im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 441.000,00 (€ 522.855,13).
