A top price for Inta Ruka - as previously expected
The work "Janis Stebers", 1986 by Inta Ruka was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 6,500.00 (€ 635.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Janis Stebers", 1986 is the most expensive artwork by Inta Ruka that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit "Janis Stebers", 1986 von Inta Ruka wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 6.500,00 (€ 635,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Janis Stebers", 1986 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Inta Ruka, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
