Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Apricot Picking) by Inji Efflatoun was sold in the Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,526.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Inji Efflatoun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Apricot Picking) von Inji Efflatoun wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.526,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Inji Efflatoun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93).
