The work Mouled In Kafr Shokr by Inji Efflatoun was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,184.21), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Inji Efflatoun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee), which sold at auction in April 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).

Die Arbeit Mouled In Kafr Shokr von Inji Efflatoun wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.184,21) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Inji Efflatoun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) beobachtet, die im April 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93) versteigert wurde.
