Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Inji Efflatoun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Doha in April 2015. In the Contemporary Art / Doha auction, the work L'Or Blanc (White Gold) sold for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Inji Efflatoun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Inji Efflatoun erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Doha einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha wurde die Arbeit L'Or Blanc (White Gold) für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.592,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00.
