Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egyptian jeune Fille (Young Girl) by Inji Efflatoun was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in April 2016. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,978.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Inji Efflatoun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Egyptian jeune Fille (Young Girl) von Inji Efflatoun wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.978,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Inji Efflatoun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93).
